Pagkt, F. R. S.?The first case was that of a man who fell, about a month ago, on his great trochanter, receiving no other injury than a severe bruise. Mr. Paget insisted on the importance of treating such cases by prolonged rest in bed, as the best means known for averting the acute atrophy of the head and neck of the femur, which too often follows an injury apparently so trivial.
